Gentle walks around our small lake and in the gardens (approx 1 Kilometre) give glimpses of the wildlife that thrives here. We have placed garden benches in strategic positions where you can sit and watch the fish in the pond, the birds and small mammals with whom we share our site, or just sit and enjoy the weather and the tranquil scenery. A picnic area is also available with a barbeque.
Our entrance gate is on one of the country walks, Le Chemin de l’Eglise au Manoir (the path from the Church to the Manor House) down ancient country lanes (no traffic) which lead to the long sandy beaches if you brave the cliff paths. Two restaurants are within an easy (flat) 10 minute walk , or 2.5 kilometres down to the town of Villers-sur-Mer. Work off your excess eating by getting back up the hill !

Drive down to Villers-sur-Mer or Dives-sur-Mer , where William Duc de Normandy assembled his army and set off for the conquest of England in 1066. Both charming seaside towns with all facilities. Long sandy beaches, small shops, cafes and a market on several days. Both towns have a casino. The famous town of Deauville with it's Casino and the new airlink to London via www.deauville.aeroport.fr/ is only 6 kilometres further on from Villers.

All the other attractions of the Calvados region, include The cider route , Honfleur harbour and Monet's gardens Basse Normandie and beyond are too numerous to list here and there are plenty of tourist information offices, websites, & the Michelin guides to consult. Suffice it to say there is something for everyone.
